Objectives
Upon completion of B.Sc. Nursing degree program the graduates are expected to:
- Assessment of health status, identifying the nursing needs, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care.
- Demonstrate competency in the skills and techniques of Nursing.
- Participate as a member of the health team in promotive, preventive and restorative health care.
- Demonstrate the skills in teaching, management, interpersonal relations and communications.
- Practice ethical values in their personal and professional life.
Eligibility For Admission
- The Minimum Age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which Admission is sought
- Age: There is no Upper age limit
- Gender: Candidate should be a woman.
Educational Qualifications:
- 10+2 passed at 45% Aggregate marks in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & English is compulsory in 10+2. Intermediate Vocational with Bridge Course in Biological and Physical Sciences.
- Candidate should be medically fit.
- Duration of the Course: Duration of B.Sc. (N) the degree program is for a period of 4 academic years including Internship.
- Commencement of the course: The course shall ordinarily commence from 10th September of the academic year.
- Medium of Instruction & Examination: English shall be the medium of Instruction and Examination.
- Working Days in the Academic year: Academic year shall consist of not less than 260 working days including university examinations.

Procedure For Admission
- Application forms for admission and prospectus are to be obtained by the candidate.
- Candidate should submit the application form duly filled in within the prescribed time with necessary documents.

Selection Procedure:
The selection committee will scrutinize each application. Merit will be the basis for preliminary selection. Provisionally selected candidates are called for interviews at their expenses. The date and place of the interview will be intimated to the candidates.
